1. Reservations

When making a reservation, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your name, contact details, stay dates, number of guests, payment details and any special requests.

A reservation is confirmed only when you receive a booking confirmation from us or from the relevant booking platform. At that point, a contract for the accommodation is formed.

We may decline or cancel a reservation where permitted by law, where payment or identification requirements are not met, or where the booking appears to be made for resale, unauthorised commercial use, speculative or fraudulent purposes.

If you book through an online travel agency, travel agent, corporate partner, event organiser or another third-party platform, your booking may also be subject to that third party’s own terms and conditions. Changes, cancellations, refunds or payment issues may need to be handled through the original booking channel.

2. Rates, payment and additional charges

The rate payable for your stay is the rate shown in your booking confirmation, subject to the specific terms of the selected rate, offer or package.

Unless stated otherwise, rates may be subject to applicable VAT, city tax, tourism tax, service charges or other charges required by law or Hotel policy.

Certain reservations may require a valid payment card, deposit, prepayment, partial payment or pre-authorisation. By providing payment card details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the card and that the Hotel may use it to guarantee the reservation, process payments due, apply cancellation or no-show charges, and settle outstanding charges connected with your stay.

Any additional charges incurred during your stay, including food and beverage, minibar, room service, laundry, damage, late check-out, extra beds, transfers, parking, event or other services, will be added to your account and must be settled before departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or availability errors where permitted by law.

3. Cancellations, amendments and no-shows

Cancellation, amendment, refund and no-show conditions depend on the specific rate, package, offer or booking channel selected at the time of booking.

Unless your booking confirmation states otherwise, cancellations or amendments must be made by contacting the Hotel directly or through the original booking channel.

If you cancel after the permitted cancellation deadline, fail to arrive, arrive late, depart early or do not use the reservation, the Hotel may charge a cancellation, no-show or early departure fee in accordance with the applicable booking conditions.

Prepaid, non-refundable or advance-purchase rates may not be refundable unless required by applicable law.

4. Check-in, check-out and guest registration

Check-in begins at 15:00 on the scheduled date of arrival.

Check-out is kindly requested by 12:00 on the scheduled date of departure.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be charged. If you check out later than the agreed time without approval, the Hotel may charge an additional fee, up to the equivalent of one night’s accommodation.

Upon arrival, guests may be required to complete the Hotel registration process and provide valid identity documents, such as a passport, national ID card or other accepted document.

We reserve the right to refuse check-in or access to the Hotel where a guest fails to provide required information, valid identity documents or payment guarantee.

Guests under the age of 18 may only check in if accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult, unless approved by the Hotel in advance.

5. Rooms and hotel facilities

Specific room or suite numbers are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by the Hotel in writing.

Room descriptions, images, layouts, views and dimensions are provided for guidance only, and actual rooms may vary.

For operational, safety, maintenance or other reasons, the Hotel may need to move guests to another room or suite of the same or higher category, where available. If substituted accommodation is of a lower value, we will refund the difference where applicable.

Hotel facilities, including restaurants, bars, rooftop, café, meeting spaces, gym and other services, may be subject to availability, opening hours, private events, maintenance, age restrictions or other Hotel policies.

6. Guest conduct, visitors and children

Guests and visitors must behave appropriately and comply with reasonable instructions from Hotel management and staff.

We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, abuse, violence, threatening behaviour, privacy violations or conduct that causes disturbance, discomfort or harm to other guests, visitors, employees or the Hotel.

The Main Guest is responsible for the conduct of all guests and visitors connected with the reservation.

Visitors are permitted only in accordance with Hotel policy and may be required to register, provide identification or leave the Hotel at the request of management. Visitors may not stay overnight unless registered with the Hotel and permitted under the room occupancy limit.

Room occupancy must not exceed the maximum number of persons permitted for the room or suite category, fire safety rules, Hotel policy or applicable law.

Children are welcome when accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult, who remains responsible for their supervision, safety and conduct at all times.

The Hotel may refuse admission, restrict access or ask any guest or visitor to leave where necessary to protect safety, security, operations, legal compliance or the reputation of the Hotel.

7. Special requests and accessibility

Please inform the Hotel in advance of any accessibility needs, allergies, dietary requirements, baby cot requests, connecting room requests, special occasions or other preferences.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests, but they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by the Hotel in writing.

Food allergies and dietary needs should be communicated before ordering. While we take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee that food or drink will be completely free from allergens or traces.

8. Smoking, damage and room condition

Petra Hotel Belgrade is a non-smoking hotel, except in designated outdoor smoking areas where available.

Smoking, vaping or using similar products in rooms, suites or non-smoking areas is not permitted and may result in cleaning, deodorising, repair or loss-of-use charges.

You are responsible for any damage, loss, breakage, excessive cleaning, missing items, misuse of property or breach of Hotel rules caused by you, your guests or your visitors.

Rooms must be used only for normal accommodation purposes, unless the Hotel gives prior written approval for another use.

9. Food, drinks, pets and external suppliers

Food and beverages purchased outside the Hotel may not be consumed in Hotel public areas, restaurants, bars, event spaces or rooftop areas unless agreed by the Hotel in advance.

Private catering, external suppliers, decorations, entertainment, photographers, videographers, production teams or event contractors may not be brought into the Hotel without prior written approval.

Pets are permitted only where approved by the Hotel in advance and subject to Hotel policy, room availability, cleaning fees and any applicable restrictions. Assistance animals will be accommodated in accordance with applicable law.

Guests are responsible for the conduct, supervision and any damage caused by animals brought to the Hotel.

10. Parking, transfers and third-party services

Parking, valet, transfer, chauffeur, tour, ticket, wellness or other third-party services may be arranged by the Hotel or provided by external partners. Additional charges and separate terms may apply.

Where a service is provided by a third party, the contract for that service may be between you and the third-party provider.

The Hotel is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, quality, pricing, safety, terms or performance of third-party providers, except where required by applicable law.

The Hotel is not responsible for loss of or damage to vehicles, contents or personal property unless caused by the Hotel’s proven fault or where liability cannot be excluded by law.

11. Complaints, liability and events outside our control

Any complaint about your stay, service, room, bill, another guest, visitor or Hotel staff should be raised with the Duty Manager or reception as soon as possible and, where possible, before departure.

If you raise a complaint after departure, please contact us at stay@petrahotelbelgrade.com and include your name, stay dates, booking reference and relevant details.

Nothing in these Booking Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by law.

Subject to applicable law, the Hotel is not liable for loss or damage caused by your own act, omission, negligence or breach of these Terms; loss of valuables not deposited in a safe or secure deposit facility where available; indirect or consequential loss; services provided by third parties; or delays, cancellations, restrictions or failures caused by events outside the Hotel’s reasonable control.

The Hotel will not be liable for any failure, delay, cancellation, restriction or change caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, extreme weather, public health restrictions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government action, power failure, supplier failure, emergency repairs or similar events.

Where we are unable to provide accommodation or services because of such an event, our liability will be limited to refunding amounts paid for the affected accommodation or services that we are unable to provide, unless otherwise required by law.

12. Privacy, changes, law and contact

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please read our Privacy Policy before making a reservation.

Group bookings, event bookings, corporate bookings, private dining, meetings, weddings, buyouts, long-stay arrangements and special packages may be subject to separate written terms and conditions. Where separate terms apply, those terms will prevail in relation to the specific booking.

We may update these Booking Terms from time to time by publishing a revised version on our website. The version that applies to your reservation will normally be the version available at the time your reservation is confirmed, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

These Booking Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, unless mandatory laws provide otherwise. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Booking Terms, your reservation, stay or use of Hotel services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgrade, Serbia, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
